Russell Brand is currently on trial at Southwark crown court after being charged of rape and sexual assault against six women. On Monday, the court heard that the 51-year-old is alleged to have raped one woman literally straight after meeting her.

The 51-year-old faces three counts of rape, three charges of sexual assault and one of indecent assault.

In her recorded interview with police, the woman said she was excited to meet Brand at the 2004 birthday party, but says within a minute of starting a conversation he had sexually assaulted her.
